As the Ateneo Management Engineering (ME) Class of 2025 steps into the next chapter of their journey, we proudly welcome them into the FAME community. Their story is one of resilience, reinvention, and remarkable growth—a generation that began their college life in isolation and uncertainty, and emerged as promising builders, leaders, and changemakers.
Rising Through Uncertainty
ME Batch 2025 entered college at a time like no other—navigating the shift from pandemic lockdowns to in-person classes, from virtual meetings to real-world connections. “Resilient and adaptable, we attuned quickly to new learning environments, rebuilt relationships, and redefined what it meant to belong to a community,” shares Teddy Labitoria, one of the members of the batch.
More than just adjusting, they thrived. They poured themselves into academics, passion projects, and internships, determined to grow in every dimension. Within MEA, they led the post-pandemic rebuilding of the organization—bringing back long-held traditions, launching new initiatives, and shaping a community that could thrive once again. “In the face of change, we chose to build. In moments of doubt, we led with clarity and care.”
This is the legacy ME 2025 brings with them into FAME: one of courage, creativity, and care.
Becoming Part of the FAME Community
As they prepare to be officially inducted into FAME, there’s a shared sense of anticipation. “Now, as we step into the wider ME community, Batch 2025 has so much to look forward to—especially the chance to connect with people from all walks of life and fields of work,” says Phoebe Tan.
While their college years were defined by tight-knit friendships and org work, entering FAME marks a new kind of belonging—one that spans industries, generations, and global borders. “What I’m most looking forward to is meeting and learning from alumni who once walked the same path we did. It’s inspiring, and it reminds us that our stories are still just beginning.”
In becoming part of the FAME network, ME 2025 steps into a circle of mentorship, lifelong learning, and shared purpose.
A Future of Impact
With their induction into FAME also comes a broader call—to bring their ME formation to life beyond campus. For Dominic Tan, it’s about leading with service and intention: “Some will break records and launch products. Others will touch lives in ways that numbers can’t always capture. But what’s certain is that Batch 2025 does everything with grit, passion, and heart.”
Their vision of impact isn’t limited to KPIs or corporate wins. It’s about purpose-driven leadership, the kind that leaves lasting impressions on teams, organizations, and communities. And as Dominic notes, “Based on how much we have achieved in the last four years at the Ateneo alone, the limit to what we can accomplish, truly, does not exist.”
